Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) was awarded university status in 1992. Today, with a student population of 31,000, the University is one of the largest in the East of England.
MBA for executives
The MBA for executives course is aimed at young, ambitious business management professionals seeking an affordable and effective way of furthering their careers. The programme is taught on a convenient modular basis, ideal for busy executives, by both local and visiting lecturers renowned in their various fields of international business.
The course is run on a part-time basis. Students are expected to attend a full weekend of taught modules every six to eight weeks and to supplement this with personal study, preparation and coursework.
This course leads to an MBA degree awarded by the London School of Commerce Malta. It is accredited at Level 7 in the Maltese Qualification Framework. This is internationally recognised as being equivalent to UK Masters Level 7 and European Qualifications Framework Level 7.
While the entire course can be completed in malta, students also have the option of completing the final semester at other LSC Group campuses in Asia or Europe.
Students who complete the first five core modules and two electives will be given the option to transfer credits to Anglia Ruskin University for their major project. If they successfully complete their major project then they will receive their MBA Degree from Anglia Ruskin University (UK).

Requirements
- Applicants must hold a Bachelors Degree with good grades from a recognised university. This should be the equivalent to a UK Bachelors (Hons) degree.
- The MBA for executives is a post-experience qualification and applicants are expected to have a minimum of two years full time relevant work experience prior to their undergraduate course.
- Applicants should be at least 21 years of age.
- For international students, minimum overall IELTS score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in all other components or equivalent recognised English language qualification.

The Major Project is an intellectually challenging piece of management research equipping students with the capabilities and core competencies required of today's managers.
Assessment
Each module consists of scheduled classes, guided learning and self-directed learning. Assessment is via a combination of group seminars, assignments and the Major Project.

Master of Business Administration (MBA)
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) attracts people from a wide range of academic disciplines.
The core courses in the MBA programme are designed to introduce students to the various areas of business such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management and Strategic Management. Students on the MBA programme also have a choice of specialist electives, before commencing a Major Project.
This course leads to an MBA degree awarded by the London School of Commerce Malta. It is accredited at Level 7 in the Maltese Qualifications Framework. This is internationally recognised as equivalent to UK Masters Level 7 and European Qualifications Framework Level 7.
Students who complete the first and second semesters will be given the option to transfer their credits to Anglia Ruskin University for their final semester. If they successfully complete their final semester then they will receive their MBA Degree from Anglia Ruskin University (UK).
Students who do not have the required English language capabilities are able to study pre-sessional Academic English courses. LSC Malta offer 4, 8 and 12 month Academic English courses for €1,950, €2,950 and €3,950 respectively. Students who complete the Academic English courses at LSC Malta will be able to study the 12 month full-time MBA degree at LSC Malta for a discounted price of €5,950.

Academic English
London School of Commerce Malta offers Academic English courses designed for students who require additional English language training to meet minimum entry requirements for English-taught degree programmes offered by LSC Malta.
The programme is based around the development of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills with a keen emphasis on business. In addition to teaching base proficiencies, the course also has a strong focus on oral presentation, and essay and report writing skills in order to prepare students for further study.
Acceptance to proceed to further studies within LSC Malta will be conditional on students attaining IELTS 6.0 equivalence in English proficiency level. Students will be examined internally however this course is an introduction programme for language qualifications including IELTS, and therefore incorporates considerable examination preparation work to ensure that students are ready for the rigours of external formal language testing should they opt for this.
While London School of Commerce Malta does not offer IELTS tests directly, it can advise students on the process.
Students who wish to progress to main degree courses offered by LSC Malta will find this course of value as an introduction to academic study. In addition, students who complete the Academic English courses at LSC Malta will be able to study the full-time 12 month MBA degree at LSC Malta for a discounted price of €5,950.

Requirements
Students should be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of English language before they are accepted onto the course. Students with an IELTS level lower than 4.5 (or equivalent) may require a telephone interview before a decision is made.
Application Requirements
Students are advised to apply well in advance of the course commencement date as courses tend to be oversubscribed. Adequate time should also be allowed for the processing of the visa application, confirmation of accommodation and other formalities.
To gain admission to degree courses conducted at the London School of Commerce (LSC), the following documents are required:
- Completed application form duly signed by the applicant. Upon acceptance to a programme of studies at LSC Malta, the signed application form, including the Terms and Conditions therein, will be deemed to consitute an agreement between the student and LSC Malta in conformity with the relevant Maltese legislation governing the rights and obligations of students and education service providers.
- Copies of relevant official educational certificates (translated and attested by an authorised representative or notary public).
- Minimum overall IELTS score of 6.0 with at least 5.5 in all other components or equivalent recognised qualification. IELTS requirements may vary from course to course. Please refer to the individual course guidelines for more information.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV) in the case of mature applicants, with details of work experience.
- Details of two referees, of which at least one should be an academic referee.
Interview Process
As part of the application process, the London School of Commerce Malta will conduct interviews with each student.
In the first instance, prospective students will be interviewed by a local Marketing Officer. The student will then be interviewed separately by a senior staff member to ensure their suitability for the course. Interviews will be carried out either in person, over the telephone, over Skype or using other verbal communication methods, where necessary.
Please Note: Receipt of application does not automatically guarantee a place on an LSC Malta course. LSC Malta reserves the right to decline the offer of a place if the candidate does not meet specified requirements at the time of application.

Confirmation of Admission/Fee Instalments
If you have received an offer of admission from London School of Commerce Malta, you are expected to confirm your acceptance by way of paying the tuition fee deposit within 28 days from the date of offer. Admission will not be confirmed if the deposit is not paid.
The balance of fees, after deduction of the deposit, can be paid in instalments as specified in the offer letter. The first instalment will be prior to the end of the first semester examinations/assignments and will continue every semester in the same manner.
Refund of tuition fees
The LSC Malta refund policy is as below:
- Fees will be refunded in full, if the student's application is declined by London School of Commerce Malta.
- In case of overseas students, if the student's visa is refused, there will be an administration charge of €250, deducted when this fee refund is paid.
- In the case of overseas students, once a student has obtained a visa, but does not commence the course, €1,650 of the initial deposit paid will not be refunded. Any deposits paid in excess of € 1,650 may be refunded at the sole discretion of the School.
- Once the student has commenced the course, fees will not be refunded.
