1. Appointment
An introductory meeting is held with parents who are interested in sending their child to
Chiswick House School and St Martin’s College. A representative from the Registrations
Office will meet with the parents and the child. Parents are requested to bring their child’s latest school report to the meeting. The
school report is to be provided in English.
2. Assessment procedures and selection process
In order to establish a child’s potential to cope with the academic requirements of the
programme, the school assesses pupils in the following manner prior to registration.
The assessment for pupils applying to join the school at entry levels 2, 3, 4 or 5 takes the
form of an entry assessment questionnaire which Parents/Guardians will be asked to
complete.
The assessment for students applying to join the school at entry levels 6 and above takes
the form of a placement test in English, Mathematics and Maltese. The Maltese placement
test does not apply for international applicants. Parents must submit a copy of their child’s latest school report together with the
entry assessment questionnaire or on the day of the placement test (whichever is
applicable). The school report is to be produced on an official letterhead and
accompanied by the contact details of the Head of School. The report must be in
English - if not, an official translation must be produced prior to registration.
The Registrations Office at Chiswick House School and St. Martin’s College reserves the
right to contact the previous school of the student.
