이유는 간단합니다. 유럽의 역사를 통해 그리스, 이탈리아, 스페인 등이 세계적인 관광 국가인 것과 같이
그 크기는 이에 못 미치지만
이탈리아 아래에 위치한 섬나라이면서 동시에 유럽인들이 즐겨 찾는 지중해의 휴양지이기 때문입니다.
트로이, 글라디에이터에 이어 2014년 가을 피트 & 졸리 부부가 고조 섬에 몇 개월을 가족과 함께 휴가로 머무르며
촬영하였던 By the sea까지 몰타는 영화 촬영지로 각광을 받고 있습니다.
휴양지로 유명한 몰타에는 정말 셀 수 없는 호텔들이 있고,
몰타의 정부의 금융 정책, 세금정책 그리고 IT산업 육성 정책 등에 따라
많은 유럽의 많은 은행들, 마이크로 소프트 등의 IT 회사들, 그리고 런던대학 브리지 코스 등의
다양한 고등교육 프로그램 운영 기관 등이 있습니다.
특히 유럽인들 뿐만 아니라 아시아 사람들에게도 까다롭지 않은 비자 시스템 등을 갖추고 있는 것에 비해
적은 한국 사람들로 인하여 더 많은 기회가 주어지는 등 다양한 취업 기회가 주어집니다.
더욱이 몰타에서 고등 교육을 받을 경우 유럽 국가들에 취업을 할 수 있는 등 다양한 기회가 있습니다.
특히 G센터의 몰타 워크 플레이스먼트 프로그램은 몰타의 다양한 산업 기관 및 회사들과
오랜 경험을 가지고 있는 몰타의 전문기관이 제고하는 전문 프로그램입니다.
This work placement package gives you the opportunity to experience practical, work-based learning which is relevant to your area of study or interest.
You start your stay in Malta with a week of General English 20 classes which will help you brush up your language skills. During this week you will also be introduced to your line manager at your place of work and shown how to find your way to the work place.
As from the second week you will be expected to work for approximately 30 to 36 hours per week (according to your College or University’s request) and take lessons of “English for Work Purposes” or attend a tutorial every Friday.

As a student in the Work placement programme you can choose your accommodation from a selection of our partner's self-catering apartments.
During your work placement you may have family and/or friends who wish to visit you and we will gladly arrange their flights and accommodation.
Completed applications for work placements should reach us at least 14 weeks before your preferred arrival date. Organisations prefer to take on students who are in Malta for a minimum of 12 weeks and over, although shorter stays will be considered upon request.
This package is suitable for students involved in vocational education and training and who wish to attain a Europass Mobility Certificate in conjunction with the Leonardo da Vinci programme. The package aims to help build a skilled workforce across Europe.
