[Summary]

1901년도에 개교한 선더랜드 대학교는 영국 선더랜드에 위치하고 있으며, Undergraduate, Post graduate 및 short courses, CPD를 위한 과정을 제공하고 있다. 

2015년도 The Complete University Guide에 따르면, 선더랜드 대학교는

-       약학을 포함한 과학(Science including Pharmacy)

으로 잘 알려져 있다. 또한, International Student를 위한 공인영어점수 기준은 IELTS의 경우 6.0 이상을 만족한 후 지원할 수 있다. 

Postgraduate의 경우, 영국 내 대학을 GPA 2.2이상으로 수료하거나, 한국에서 같거나 비슷한 학위를 취득한 경우 GPA 2.8 이상을 만족해야 한다.

[Entry Requirements]

1.     Undergraduate level

To be considered for an undergraduate degree programme it is necessary to have the equivalent of a minimum of two UK General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level passes.
You can also apply onto advanced entry on to an undergraduate programme (for example, level 2 or 3) if you have a diploma equivalent to one or two years of a UK honour degree in a relevant subject

2.     Postgraduate level

To be accepted onto a postgraduate course you need one of the following:

-       2:2 or higher from a UK undergraduate Bachelor degree

-       An average of GPA 2.8 or higher from a relevant South Korean Bachelor Degree

-       An overall pass of a relevant Master Foundation Programme/Premaster

3.     International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

You need an overall score of 6.0, with at least 5.5 in each component: reading, writing, listening and speaking.

After 6 April 2015 you must take your IELTS exams at one of the test centres listed on the UKVI website. If you took your IELTS exam before 6 April 2015 this does not apply, and your qualification is still valid.

Pearson Test of English Academic 
You need a minimum score in each individual element of 51 and 52 overall.

Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
You need grade C or above.

Cambridge Certification in Advanced English (CAE)
You need grade C or above.

O-Level English Language or GCSE English Language
You need grade C or above (UK Exam board).
