Since 1893, Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) has been a pioneer in terms of managerial training for careers in hospitality.

A worldwide reference, EHL pursues its mission to select ambitious and talented students and train them to become the responsible leaders of the future.

Three university-level study programs are available. They offer many opportunities for international careers in the hospitality industry:

 - Bachelor of Science (University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland) in international hospitality management
 - Master of Science (University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland) in global hospitality business
 - Executive MBA in Hospitality Administration

Entry Requirements

Documents required:

- A copy of secondary school diploma

- Transcripts of last three years of secondary education

- Essay

Language certificate - English:

- TOEFL

- Cambridge examinations

- IELTS

Language certificate - French:
All French language certificates must be certified.

Certified true copies may be obtained from an examination center, a city hall in France or a notary.

High school diploma (International students):
Students from international schools offering the below diplomas need to send the following with their application:

- American High School Diploma: evidence of higher achievement (3 AP or IB Higher Level certificates or SAT II subject tests), plus satisfactory SAT I or ACT results. 
- Chinese Senior High School Graduation Diploma: GAO KAO or SAT I exams with a minimum of 500 per section.Gao Kao or evidence of higher achievement (3 AP or IB Higher Level certificates or SAT II subject tests) and satisfactory SAT 1 or ACT results. Minimum Requirement: Minimum Gao Kao results vary according to the province and year.
- Korean High School Diploma: KSAT or evidence of higher achievement (3 AP or IB Higher Level certificates or SAT II subject tests) and satisfactory SAT 1 or ACT results.Minimum Requirement: Average of Stanine 3 in each subject on the KSAT.
- SAT or ACT scores must be sent directly to EHL by the College Board.

This program is no longer available in Lausanne. It has been replaced by a tertiary B-level program offered by the Swiss School of Tourism & Hospitality (SSTH)
